I was noticing a snapping type of noise only when the garage door was opening and nearly all the way up. It was coming from one side only. The noise started out as clicking noise. It seemed to get a little more pronounce over the next couple of weeks. The door opened and closed ok, just the snapping noise. So I figured rather than just let it go I decided to call Precision and have them check it out. Better to have them look at it and find out it wasn't an issue, than have to call them about a broken door was my thought. We had them earlier replace a broken spring and they did an excellent job. When I got the text that the technician was on the way I was very happy to see that it was James Bristol. He was the tech that did an excellent job replacing the springs. Well James looked at it and called me to tell me that it was nothing major. He did a few minor adjustments and said we should be ok. Great. To the owner of Precision Garage Door of West Michigan, James is an asset to your company! He is able to diagnosis the situation quickly and take care of it. He has a great personality which is important when working with customers, especially when they are in a difficult situation with a broken garage door.

I had a problem with my garage door cables coming uncoiled. Called precision at 9 am on a Monday morning and Judd came out just after 11am the same day! No bs, very professional and friendly. Also he taught me what I should do for long term life and maintenance of my garage door. And as a veteran, we receive $75 off the repair! Great service!

James B saved the day for us! One of the springs broke for our garage door and James arrived on Christmas Eve to make repairs. He replaced the springs, bearing and restrung the cables in about an hour. James was on time, professional and polite! Thank you!

James Bristol was great! Other than the obvious, broken spring, he diagnosed the root of the cause for the spring breaking. It seams the sears garage door representative for our area installed the outer upper pulleys wrong when they installed the new garage door about 6-7 years ago. One was leaning out and the other was leaning in. This caused the bearings to wear out. James also found the center support was plastic and not steel. That also had a lot of play in it as did the other bearings. He also mentioned the springs that were installed were 10,000 cycle springs and he installed 50,000 cycle springs. A real great guy to talk with. We found out that we both had grand parents from the Stanton area. Wow small world. James was a trooper working on a very cold Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend him for all your garage door repairs.

Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced! I placed a call at 11am to see if they had anyone with availability this week to replace a torsion spring that had snapped, and within a couple hours Jon Consiglio stoped by and got my garage door fully functional again. I would call Jon for any future repairs, and would recommend him to a friend.
